MeituEve: the world's first panoramic tri-camera HD skin analyzer

Meitu officially released its self-developed panoramic skin detection device, MeituEve at the Beauty Expo in Guangzhou on September 5, 2019.

As the world's first device of its kind to employ three HD cameras, MeituEve covers 98% of the human face in a single shot, and features a short detection time and a high accuracy rate compared to other brands' skin analyzers.

As a method for increasing brick-and-mortar store traffic, skin analyzers have become standard equipment for beauty institutions over the past few years. However, most skin analyzers share the same deficiencies, such as low accuracy, need for human instruction, low customer trust, and low repurchase rates. MeituEve has achieved a qualitative improvement in accuracy by changing its product design.

MeituEve offers precise skin detection with 17 sub-criteria based on our deep algorithm technology, which can conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis for the identification of spots, acne, and moles, and effectively analyze and predict skin issues. Among which, our detection technologies for dark circles and skin sensitivity are at the forefront of the industry.

MeituEve first captures images of the face, analyzes the images, then generates an easy-to-understand visual skin report. Users can easily understand their skin issues and the recommended skin care plans without the need for human explanation or instruction, meaning stores that use the device can reduce their staff training costs and time spent with each customer. In addition, MeituEve has entered into a strategic partnership with Shanghai Skin Disease Hospital, which provides a massive amount of clinical data and professional advice for Meitu's skin imaging analysis technology.
